This band born in Greenville, TX has been cranking out number 1 hits and platinum albums for almost 20 years. It was about 15 years ago that they wrote and recorded a song that transformed Christian music. You might have heard of the tune "I Can Only Imagine."

Funny: The group’s name, “MercyMe”, originated during Bart’s time as a youth ministry intern in Florida. Bart’s grandmother would exclaim, “Well mercy me, why don’t you get a real job?”
